I just finished reading Blue Moon. There is that bit in the end, after Anita used pack and JC energy/power to heal Nathaniel, where Richard refers to himself, JC & Anita as a manage a trois. Anita asks if that means Richard & JC "did more than just talk" and Richard says no. To which Ms. Not That There's Anything Wrong With It replies "Glad to hear it." *sigh*

Gods, doesn't that just make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

This all reminds me of the movie Alexander--promising us Jared Leto and Colin Farrel and saying they HAD kisses and whatnot, then having Colin paying more attention to some random slave boy than the man he was supposed to love ::sigh::

I was talking to dwg today and we were talking about quotes in Circus of the Damned and she brought up a quote where Anita says something along the lines of "I'm not prejudice, but I don't want to be involved with a walking corpse" (paraphrasing) which annoyed me because if you're not prejudice...why would you be calling a vampire a walking corpse?

Exactly!! And, "furball"?? If I was a were, I would not be pleased to hear that from a human. And she is always going around insulting people left & right!

I know! I'm rereading CotD for the Richard parts, and she totally says some things to him that a person wouldn't say to someone they knew was a lycanthrope and I'm just sitting there like "If you were a normal person, when you found out he was a werewolf you'd be mortified at how prejudice you were."
